In such a situation, the demand for the special fruit jalebi here has increased. Normally you would have eaten jalebi made of flour and pulses, but this special jalebi is prepared from a mixture of water chestnut, milk, banana and boiled potatoes.

It is filtered in pure ghee. Then it is poured in sugar syrup. Those observing fast eat it as a fruit. Shopkeeper Laxman of Deoghar told that this Jalebi is not made everyday. It is demanded on the occasion of fasting festival. At present, there is a great demand for it in Sawan.

There are more sales especially for Mondays. Apart from this, this Jalebi is also made on Shivratri, full moon and new moon days. This Jalebi is sold for 130 to 140 rupees per kg. In the month of Sawan, you will find this fruitful Jalebi in many sweet stores of Deoghar. Be it the sweet shop near Tower Chowk or the sweet shop located at William Chowk.

This jalebi will also be available in the temporary hotels set up on the Kanwariya path in Sawan. On the other hand, Ram Kripal, who was buying Jalebi, told that this fruitful Jalebi is eaten during fasting. Fast-friendly ingredients are used in this. It is a great pleasure to eat hot food. Stomach is filled in 4-5 pieces.
